The Brain and Technology: Brain Sciences Interface Design
Beyond theory, I have actively applied these principles in my professional work, shaping the design, development, and optimization of 10+ products and platforms to enhance user experience and business outcomes. I have implemented strategic interventions to drive engagement, improve user retention, and influence decision-making.
🧠 How my UX background makes me a strong applied behavioral scientist:
I have a deep understanding of the science behind what makes experiences intuitive and how user's brains work, encouraging more engagement. I use principles including Gestalt psychology, Hick’s Law, and cognitive load theory to create experiences that align with how the brain processes information.
I'm able to identify potential issues in the design before they become a problem for users. My experience and knowledge in not only in UX principles but also in heuristic evaluation, usability testing, and UX research allows me to spot friction points early on.
I can create effective designs based on how the brain manages and prioritizes sensory information. I understand how visual hierarchy, contrast, and spatial organization influence attention and memory. I'm also able to translate ideas into user-centered designs and solutions.
