How my scientific knowledge adds value as a strategist
As a behavioral science professional, I have created better user experiences through understanding the motives, thinking, and behavior of people.
With my Master's in Behavioral and Decision Sciences with a concentration in Social, Cognitive, and Affective Neuroscience from a top institution, I bring both practical experience and a strong foundation to my work.
Moreover, I have the ability to interpret experimental findings from publications and what can be applied to the real-world.
I'm excited that I've had the chance to apply my knowledge to my work.
🧠 How my behavioral science and neuroscience background makes me a strong strategist:
I understand the latest scientific research in behavioral and brain sciences - ensuring our product/intervention/solution is up to speed with the latest developments.
I understand how to target behavioral barriers and what the design implications could be. I specialize in diagnosing the barriers that prevent users from taking action - whether it’s engagement drop-offs, decision fatigue, or lack of motivation. Combined with my UX knowledge, I can design targeted interventions that reduce friction and address pain points.
I understand the biological mechanisms behind why people behave the way they do. This adds further scientific insights to whatever decision we make. I ensure that every decision is optimized for human cognition, emotional responses, and long-term engagement.
